MN Garage Door | Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy is subject to change at any time.

Part Warranties

There are no returns or refunds on any purchased parts.

Openers: Manufacturer warranty

Doors/Sections: Warranty period depends on the manufacturer.

Spring Warranty: Minimum 8-year warranty - lifetime is available for purchase

Cable Warranty: Lifetime warranty

Roller Warranty: Lifetime warranty

Gear and Sprocket Warranty: Lifetime warranty

Unspecified Parts: 5-year warranty

Part Replacement: In accordance with our warranty policy, the replacement of parts is covered under specific conditions. In the event that a part breaks shortly after installation, our labor warranty will cover the replacement of the damaged part, and the necessary service will be re-done at no extra cost to the customer to ensure functionality.

Spring Replacements: For spring replacements, if the springs are replaced and subsequently break within the 8-year or lifetime warranty period, MN Garage Door will provide free replacement springs. However, it is imperative to understand that 50% of the labor cost for the installation of these replacement springs will be the customer's responsibility.

Other Service Labor: For any services other than spring replacements, including but not limited to cable replacements, roller replacements, hardware replacements, gear and sprocket replacements, and others, it is essential to acknowledge that 100% of the labor cost shall be the customer's responsibility.

Labor Warranty

The labor warranty is valid for two years and is subject to the following terms:

  • Two year labor warranty was included via receipt and is accessible/visible to MN Garage Door's employees - failure to provide receipt of warranty will void any claimed warranty

  • Free labor to fix issues caused by the installer.

  • If the issue is unrelated to the installer's work, a service call fee or labor charge may apply.

  • If additional parts are required, the customer is responsible for the cost of the parts and any additional labor to install them.

Terms of Warranty

  • The warranty is only valid while MN Garage Door is still in business. If the business is closed or shut down, the warranty will no longer be valid.

  • Warranty claims will be scheduled as soon as possible, subject to the installer's availability.

  • All warranty claims are subject to being denied if the customer misunderstands what is covered by the warranty.

  • The warranty is void if the installer determines that any part has been tampered with.

Terms Acceptance, Consent, and Liability:

By utilizing the services offered by MN Garage Door, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all the terms stipulated in this warranty policy, even in the event that they did not read it. Once the customer remits payment to MN Garage Door for any service, they become subject to and bound by all the warranty terms outlined on this page.

The customer further accepts full liability and responsibility for thoroughly reviewing any privacy policy, terms and conditions, and the warranty policy before scheduling any services with MN Garage Door. MN Garage Door facilitates easy access to these policies on its official website and strongly advises all customers to conduct a comprehensive review of these policies prior to booking any service appointments.
