Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy is subject to change at any time.

Part Warranties

There are no returns or refunds on any purchased parts.

Openers and other manual installation work: 6-month warranty.

Doors/Sections: Warranty period depends on the manufacturer.

Spring Warranty: 5-year warranty.

Cable Warranty: Lifetime warranty.

Roller Warranty: Lifetime warranty.

Gear and Sprocket Warranty: Lifetime warranty.

Unspecified Parts: 1-year warranty.

Part replacement is covered, but labor is not. For example, if springs were replaced and break within the 5-year warranty period, free replacement springs will be provided. However, labor costs to install them will be the customer's responsibility.

Labor Warranty

The labor warranty is valid for one year and is subject to the following terms:

  • Free labor to fix issues caused by the installer.

  • If the issue is unrelated to the installer's work, a trip or labor charge may apply.

  • If additional parts are required, the customer is responsible for the cost of the parts and any additional labor to install them.

Terms of Warranty

  • The warranty is only valid while MN Garage Door is still in business. If the business is closed or shut down, the warranty will no longer be valid.

  • Warranty claims will be scheduled as soon as possible, subject to the installer's availability.

  • All warranty claims are subject to being denied if the customer misunderstands what is covered by the warranty.

  • The warranty is void if the installer determines that any part has been tampered with.

By using MN Garage Door services, the customer accepts all the terms discussed in this warranty policy, even if they did not read it. Once the customer pays MN Garage Door for any service, they are subject to all warranty terms mentioned on this page.
